They can't always buy direct from retailers due to purchase limits and regional restrictions So they hire "buyers" (you) to purchase items on their behalf You buy $3,000 worth of MacBooks from Best Buy using your credit card. You ship them to a consolidation warehouse. The buyer's group pays you $3,150 for the items Your profit: $150 cash Your points: 9,000+ (3x on Best Buy through portals) Your risk: basically zero The arbitrage exists because these items resell for 20-30% more in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong. The buyer's group handles export, logistics, and resale. You just swipe and ship Now scale it: $20k/month in purchases through buyer's groups 5% average spread = $1,000/month profit 60,000 points/month = $600+ in travel value Total monthly value: $1,600 for swiping cards Some people run $100k+/month through these groups. They're not even trying to profit on the spread, they just want the points. A million AA miles per year from buying PlayStations (you can 100% automate this too, someone has def done that) The groups worth checking: -BFMR (Buy For Me Retail) -MyBulkDeals -Various Discord servers (search "reselling" or "buyer groups") Most charge $50-100/month membership. You make that back on your first deal The risk: If items are returned or flagged as fraud, you're responsible. Only work with established groups. Never front money you can't afford to lose.
