@Foskolo Not for the first time kicked off the pitch by United, particularly Reyes.

I've repeatedly told the story of how we got dumped out of the FA Cup semis by a not-so-great Manchester United on a Saturday in 2004.
And then on Tuesday, lost to a Chelsea side they had not lost to for about six years.
Three days later on Good Friday, they were 2-1 down at HT to Liverpool.
Henry scored twice to get his hattrick and restore a season that was on the brink.
That team - The Invincibles - is revered today. Arteta just needs to get over the line. Everyone will be fine!!!
North Bank Nadim@NorthBankNadim
Last night was awful. Southampton fully deserved it. But don’t be stupid. Even The Invincibles got dumped from the cups (and CL) at a similar stage, very quickly. They still achieved greatness in May. We’ve not won the league in 22 yrs, let’s do that before we expect dominance.

@Alarsenalnews_ It started in the 30s when Arsenal broke the Northern monopoly

Here are 5 reasons why everyone hates Arsenal.
1.During the era when the Irish in England were heavily discriminated against (70s and 80s),core of Arsenal team had Irish players Like Liam Bradley ,David O'Leary,Pat Rice etc...The team's embrace of Irish talents was a step away from the norm and this caused resentment towards the club
2.Arsene Wenger arrived and immediately changed English football forever. The team's approach to nutrition, training, scouting revolutionized the English game.He was the first premier league manager to:
I.Field 9 black players in a single top flight game
II.Field an entire team of foreign players
Expectedly this sparked major outrage.
The media framed it as Arsenal "abandoning" English football.
III.Introduce the intricate passing game which is against the normal English kick and follow approach.
'Heaven was let loose' when Wenger's team in 2004 won the league as invincibles. The media didn't like it.The hatred grew.
3.When Mikel Arteta changed the 'soft centre' narrative always associated with the team by the media and rival clubs, they never liked it and it added to the hatred because he started recruiting physically imposing players .
4.Arteta always encourages his team to celebrate when goals are scored or games are won but the celebration police that is the media felt uncomfortable.Other teams can celebrate but Arsenal are not allowed to celebrate.
5.Opposing teams who previously came to the Emirates to play low block against Wenger's teams and snatched results are finding it difficult now as Arteta has devised unconventional means to win games thru set pieces and having opponents score own goals.....the media ,rival fans, pundits all hate it that they now call them set pieces FC.
The hatred didn't start today,it has always been generational. But Arsenal is not fazed!!!

🎙Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara discussed their all-time top three Premier League managers on Sports Bar.........
🗣“Arsene Wenger if he was at Chelsea would not have survived 22 years. No chance,” Cundy added.
“Under Roman Abramovich it was two years, give me a title then off you pop.”
🎙O’Hara continued his defence of Wenger adding.....
🗣 “For me, I look at Arsene Wenger and what he did for the game and for Arsenal. Where he took the stature of that football club to where it is now, it’s down to Arsene Wenger.
🗣Cundy replied: “But that’s an Arsenal thing. You’re talking about a Premier League great.
“Arsene Wenger is a Premier League great but he’s not in the top three.
“He can't be in the top three. Three titles in 22 years. Mate, that’s poor. If [Mikel] Arteta does that, Arsenal fans will be phoning up moaning.
“Let’s do the maths. If Arteta wins the title this year that's one in six (years). If he wins another two in the next 15 years he ain’t surviving.
“Liverpool fans will say Jurgen Klopp is the greatest manager ever and he won one (title).
“You can’t be a Premier League great and win one title. Wenger is not in the top three. He’s in the top four.” (Talksport)

@aussieafc It honestly feels strange so far away from London

The replay from the previous goal was still rolling, Spurs restart and within seconds, Fabregas scores one of the greatest solo goals you’ll ever see.

@TheAdrianDurham I'm actually agreeing, get rid,but we know why not, every time Var flashes up ,money is being paid, nothing to do with fans enjoyment.
English

Nobody's forgotten what it was like before because 1) we're not stupid and 2) we watch football that isn't Premier League so we still appreciate the joy of football without VAR.
Also VAR doesn't have to be here to stay. That's Webb's mantra in briefings & it's an insult to fans.
Henry Winter@henrywinter
@Bigalanh5 it's here to stay, people forget what it was like before. it's now a case of getting back to its original intent - clear and obvious
