I need MAGA world to stop simping right now because the reason we have a completely nonsensical tariff policy built on fake numbers is because no one in Trump's circle ever tells him he's wrong. He doesn't even know what the tariffs are for. This is all for a few special interests like auto unions. No one can explain what he wants. They just say "these countries are ripping us off" like that's 4 aces. I'm happy to entertain an economic rationale if anyone has one. It's not "to build factories in America" because what company is going to build a factory that is only viable with the existence of arbitrarily capricious tariffs that can be removed at any time?

I find myself with a very specific hardware requirement. I need a 4k camera that has NO transmitters on it. No WiFi, no Bluetooth. It's proving to be far more difficult to find than I had expected. I would prefer something that's the DSLR form factor. Any ideas?

@elonmusk There are a lot of things I agree with you about, however I think your blanket disdain for remote work is unreasonable. Tasks have a sliding degree of necessity to be in-person. Some jobs should be 100% in person, and some, not so much.

If you exclude security guards & maintenance personnel, the number of government workers who show up in person and do 40 hours of work a week is closer to 1%! Almost no one.
