@stephenRB4 No I think people were afraid of me because I was so aggressive. But I imagine I would've got bullied for publishing books at such a young age.
English

@BWheelerBooks @LKmorgan_x Well at least you got something. They enjoyed reading
English

@LKmorgan_x They said they enjoyed reading it but the book is shelved now anyway and has been for years.
English

@markemusgames I don't think so but I wish I could. I need to write more.
English

@annamead551 @davis130814 I think I self-published around 20ish books most of them are long ass picture books. I'm working on turning them into a chapter book remake series and am currently seeking an agent.
English

@author_alex @davis130814 Lol 😂 😝, how many books have you published so far?
English

@davis130814 @lyssa_whitt I write in a million different genres and age groups. I got a short story published. Am currently looking for someone to publish another short story I wrote. And I wrote some picture books I'm currently querying.
English

@andiesmithbooks I'm working on a new picture book but I'm not sure if it'll be ready before you close again. When will you close again?
English

@NovelistNotions 500 readers who leave detailed feedback. Always want to hear about the quality of my writing. :)
English

Which would you rather have? Would you rather be guaranteed 10,000 readers who don't leave reviews, or 500 readers who leave detailed feedback? I'm a quality-over-quantity guy myself. #WritingCommunity

@liranique @mariaoarchive I think it could possibly work but I think usually people just force them to be together just because.
English

@mariaoarchive Enemies to lovers, pls we need to encourage writers to stop it
English

@renovely @mariaoarchive I mostly don't like them because there's too much drama. Like why are you two fighting each other over this one guy who may not even love you?
English

@mariaoarchive love triangles, absolutely HATE it, they never end up with the one I like the most
English

@mariaoarchive There's a few but I don't really believe in love at first sight. I think someone can find someone attractive but true love doesn't actually start by just looking at someone, it starts by building a bond and friendship.

@authorjpdumas I thought my Natila books were actual picture books. Turns out they are a little too long for picture books. So now, I'm remaking them into a chapter book series.
English

@C_Alemshah That's how I start writing any book. I usually get an idea and then maybe do a bit of outlining, write down the premise and then start writing.
English

When I am ready to write a new picture book, I always start with the pitch. Usually, if I can write a fully developed pitch then I'm ready to dive into a first draft. If the pitch is lacking, I still have some brainstorming to do. #amwriting #kidlit
English

@DNicholsAuthor Nothing much. I either go do something fun or just write something else.
English

Hey, fellow writers...
What's the first thing you do when you finally finish a manuscript?

@SusanSavageLee1 I used to do them but I never really cared much for them. I often struggle with trying to come up with a story for them. Plus, I always liked doing my own thing.
I only did them for a few years but I don't imagine they really strengthened my writing as much as growing up.

What is your opinion about writing prompts? Have they strengthened your writing skills or no? #writingq #WritingCommunity
