Thirteen months have passed since the events of the Lucas County Curse. Amid the bustling holiday season of 1994, Sylas Sterling faces new dangers—mysterious teens, murders, and a quest for truth. Will he survive “The Season of the Shroud?” - amzn.to/49NZjkv

@greatgideon_off I have not seen much of a difference for either.

@authorjallen For most authors, honestly no. The analytics you get aren't worth the monthly cost. There are free tools that show you the same data. What's your main goal on X — reach or sales?

I'm curious about X Premium—have any writers here tried it out? What's your experience been like? Is it worth the investment? Do you get better engagement? Does the 'Reply Boost' feature actually help? #WritingCommunity #WritersOfTwitter #XPremium

Oof! Taxes just drop-kicked my wallet into next year. 😩 It’s got me feeling like a broke 90s kid again!

@aaronsagers Nice, I really enjoyed this series so far. It redeemed Iron Man 3 for me. I was not a fan of the twist at the time, but now I love the character Trevor.

@Adam_Cesare I’m glad I was able to write at least a couple of books before all the AI slop that is out there these days.

@CerealMidnight I’d like to get this, but I have already the first two seasons on Blu-ray/DVD, and I don’t want to pay anything close to $200.
English

@CerealMidnight It’s crazy how these keep being found occasionally.

Incredible news! The missing episodes were among hundreds of reels of film that were donated to a Leicester charity after the owner passed away. There's no telling how much previously-lost film and television history is sitting in the basements of aging or deceased collectors.

@CerealMidnight This seemed like an odd concept of a movie, but I like the stars, so I will check it out eventually.

The folks at Sony just sent over their brand new 4K Steelbook for the new #Anaconda movie. As a fan of the original, I did not care for this reboot (my review: cerealatmidnight.com/2026/01/review…), but this #steelbook really does capture the spirit of the new entry and looks good.

Early '90s mystery dread. Vote for the scariest!
A) Midnight phone rings + no caller ID.
B) Waiting days for photos to develop.
C) Rotary dial taking forever while panic sets in.
D) Other (reply)

Hot take: The early 90s was the end of the golden age for mysteries. No cell phones. No AI or Google. Just pay phones and fear in the dark. What's one thing from that era that made stories scarier? #90sNostalgia #YAMystery #IndieAuthor

@lhallwriter I get so many e-mails about people that want to “feature” my book, they just leave out the part where they want me to pay them.

Tamagotchis: That tiny virtual pet "dying" if you forgot to feed it? Pure 90s guilt in pixel form. Trauma anyone #90sNostalgia #IndieAuthor

Getting ready to reveal new covers for my first two novels before book three arrives. Indie authors, have you ever redesigned your covers after release? Worth it? #IndieAuthor #WritingCommunity

The ambiguous ending of The Thing is perfect because we never know who (or if anyone) is infected. It forces the viewer to sit in the paranoia with MacReady and Childs. Genius. Carpenter knew exactly what he was doing. #TheThing #MacReady #80sHorror

As a kid in the 80s, I binged tons of horror movies and most didn't faze me. But this guy? He genuinely scared me back in the day. #PoltergeistII #TheOtherSide #80sHorror
