Pre-seeding rain - is it always a good thing? 40mm in March having significant impact on grain production in this trial site. Rooting depth not an issue with lime+amelioration. Many factors affect NUE but imo the biggest puzzle piece to develop. Yields coming today !

Winter Wheat with 9” annual precip in an area that most were convinced no till would never work in. All while chasing moisture with JD single discs. Now just need to get some #NDFSA750 openers stateside to really push some yields with consistency.

@RichieQuigley @dale_ndf @BradMclean90 Seems like with the JD’s in our area the lesser angle of attack you’d have seeding shallow for canola increases hairpinning in long strong. Guessing added downforce and compound angle helps a lot.
