“fandoms are mainstream now” the average person may consider themselves a fan of something but they are not in a FANDOM. They don’t make hcs, write/read fic, draw fanart, join group chats with other fans, collect merch, cosplay, or go to conventions or meetups.. like.. 😭

@darkcloudexists That’s how I feel about crk… I like it but the fandom is really hard for me to engage with cause the culture there is very… different… I only really consider myself in the hellaverse and mxtx fandoms rn but I definitely lurk and dabble in others lol
