Sooo there are some wheelchair users who can walk, and are able to use their legs, and there are veterans who have both visible and invisible disabilities like PTSD . It's common and intentional in adaptive sports for some wheelchair users to be able to stand or walk in non-sport contexts. The wheelchair is the equalizer during play, preventing anyone from gaining an advantage by standing/running. Veterans aren't "faking" wheelchair basketball. At the Invictus Games, which follows strict classification rules to ensure fairness, all players must compete seated in wheelchairs and NO ONE uses their legs, regardless of whether their disability is visible (like spinal cord injuries or amputations), limited mobility, or invisible. Notice how all the athletes in this clip are using their hands. So Bower is an ignorant fool.
