"The KGB and its successor [FSB] were also successful in infiltrating the opposition parties and infiltrating Orbán’s inner circle, using the very same methods they used elsewhere: corruption and compromise. This is something that I’ve been investigating." ftm.eu/articles/szabo…

It’s so depressing… Today, russian terrorists killed many Ukrainians, including children. And once again, it’s barely mentioned in international news.

Russia dropped 6 guided bombs on the dam that supplies drinking water to over a million people in Kharkiv. Not a military base. Not a weapons depot. A dam supplying drinking water to Kharkiv — Ukraine’s second-largest city. The target: Pechenihy Dam, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv Oblast. Ukraine’s largest reservoir — 86 km², stretching over 60 km along the Siverskyi Donets river. Built 1958–1962. Critical water supply for the entire region. “This is the largest reservoir in our oblast and a critically important facility — for the city of Kharkiv and our entire territory.” — Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov, April 14 This is not an isolated strike. In March, President Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa warned that Russia was planning targeted attacks on Ukraine’s water infrastructure in the months ahead. Today that warning became reality. Russia has already destroyed Ukraine’s power grid, heating systems, and energy infrastructure. Now the target is water. The logic is deliberate: no electricity means darkness. No water means disease, sanitation collapse, and the slow unravelling of civilian life in cities that have already survived two years of bombardment. Kharkiv has roughly 1.4 million people. Six guided bombs. One dam. One city’s water supply. This is not warfare. This is the systematic destruction of the conditions for human life. — Source: Kharkiv OVA / Governor Syniehubov, April 14, 2026 #Ukraine #Kharkiv #RussiaWarCrimes #UkraineWillWin #RussiaUkraineWar #WarCrimes #PechenihyDam #RussiaIsATerroristState

Ukraine passes antisemitism crime law while most of the West is worried about Islamophobia when Jews are attacked. 🇺🇦 Leader of the free world.
Leonid Nevzlin@Nevzlin

Hahaha! "Hungary has never really mattered to us," "We should forget about Europe," "We’ve always been at war with Hungary," "Hungarians are Ukrainians!" - Russian propagandist Solovyev rolled out a new propaganda script.
Anton Gerashchenko@Gerashchenko_en

"Russians, go home": Orbán has lost. First and foremost, this is a defeat for Russia. And this is already its third defeat, following Romania and Moldova (unfortunately, Georgia has not yet managed to break free from Russia's grip). Undoubtedly, with a democratic Hungary, the EU will become stronger. Russia has lost the ability to block NATO and EU decisions through Hungary. Orbán's defeat will weaken other pro-Russian politicians in Europe. It is also worth highlighting the outstanding work and role of independent media outlets, journalists, and bloggers who stood up to the direct interference of Russian political strategists and special services in Hungary's electoral process. Journalists demonstrated the effectiveness of fact-checking and quickly debunked AI-generated fakes (for example, about "Ukrainian cash-in-transit workers"). How will Russia act given Orbán's defeat? It will continue hybrid warfare within the EU, especially in countries where support for Putin remains high. Russia is counting on a prolonged war in Iran, and that it will trigger an economic crisis in Europe. Moscow will continue to restrict internet freedom in Russia. It will likely limit Russians' ability to leave the country and travel abroad. It will further mobilize the population. Putin will strengthen law enforcers and replace leaders so that no one can claim power. What conclusions regarding Hungary are important? A democratic society can prevail. I wish prosperity to the people of Hungary.

For the first time in Ukraine’s history, the courage of our warriors and the resilience of our people are sufficiently armed to defend against Russian strikes. This is not the first time Russia has come to destroy Ukrainian statehood and freedom. But now Ukrainians are in a stronger position than ever before – stronger than in 2014, stronger than in the 20th century, and stronger than at any earlier time. This is a historic achievement of our state – Ukraine has withstood a full-scale war and is defending itself with dignity, with modern capabilities, and with the ability to take the war onto the enemy’s territory – into Russia. Today, I presented state awards to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex, the manufacturers of our weapons, of our protection, which is essential to ensuring Ukraine’s independence. I thank each of the hundreds of thousands of workers in Ukraine’s defense industry. Thank you all. Congratulations on Ukrainian Defense Industry Workers’ Day. Glory to Ukraine!

@KaterynaLis @MetalHedgeFella Once this war is over, I don’t think too many countries are going to want to fuck with Ukraine for a while. ‼️ZELENSKYY: We will not sell our weapons like we did in the 1990s. Instead, we will share our knowledge and expertise in exchange for long-term, mutually beneficial security partnerships with Ukraine. “We're building new partnerships on weapons differently than in the nineties or two thousands, when Ukrainian weapons and forces were sold off like it's Black Friday. We're not holding a fire sale of our weapons or emptying our warehouses. We're offering a security partnership that's long-term and profitable for Ukraine” - Zelenskyy’s address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex. April 13th, 2026.

What was meant to be a show of force has spiraled into a full-blown agricultural disaster. T.r.u.m.p’s latest potash tariffs were designed to pressure Canada, but instead they detonated inside America’s own farming heartland. In an emergency meeting at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a senior Trump adviser reportedly admitted the unthinkable: the policy had backfired so badly that American farmers may not survive the growing season. Canada wasted no time. As the world’s largest potash supplier, Ottawa redirected exports to Asia and Europe within days, locking in billion-dollar contracts and tightening its grip on the global fertilizer market. One Canadian official mocked the situation bluntly, saying that if the U.S. doesn’t want Canadian potash, the rest of the world gladly will. On the ground in Iowa, the consequences turned personal. A U.S. farmer broke down during a live interview, explaining that without Canadian potash, crops simply cannot be grown at scale. The result is stark: Canada posts record profits and cements its status as the undisputed “fertilizer king,” while the United States loses control of a critical supply chain at the worst possible moment of the planting season. Analysts are already calling this the worst trade failure of Trump’s year — a pressure tactic that ended up crushing the very people it claimed to defend.
