🎯 Today, Silence Laboratories launched the world's first Post-Quantum MPC Wallet Infrastructure for institutional digital asset custody. For years, MPC has been the right architecture for institutional signing and KMS — no single party ever holds the full key. The model continues. The cryptography beneath it is evolving. ECDSA, EdDSA, and BLS — secure today — will fall to Shor's algorithm on a sufficiently capable quantum computer (National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) deadlines and acceleration by Google's paper). We spent last few quarters evaluating NIST PQ signatures: SPHINCS+, Falcon, and CRYSTALS-Dilithium against what institutional MPC actually demands: signing efficiency, payload size, latency, TSS compatibility. Not every PQ algorithm is MPC-friendly. So far, Dilithium has a clear edge, while we are already building capabilities for others. For banks and custodians already running MPC based products: this is a code upgrade, not an infrastructure replacement. yesterday's @AvailProject workshop was about how avail nexus can make life easier for users who want to move liquidity from different chains into citrea apps. some cool things about avail nexus: - it can help you use fragmented assets sitting across different networks inside the destination app/chain. - it is not just for usdc or stables. depending on what you have in your wallet, nexus can work with assets like $ETH, usdc, usdt, different versions of tokens. - it turns a messy process into a few simple clicks. - it also does not only provide the asset you need for the deposit. it can provide the cbtc you need to complete the transaction on @citrea_xyz too. - nexus is not only using avail's own solver route. it can also tap into third party swap aggregators and bridge routes, which means broader support for assets and chains. they talked about other interesting things like the sdk and agent skills, so the full session is worth watching 👇 rn users can already use avail nexus bridge to bridge usd assets from any chain to citrea. personally most of my citrea bridges have been through nexus. thanks to @yilmaz_btc and @mayurrelekar for the great workshop. hope this becomes a series.
