my entire $500K marketing agency runs on 15 AI employees while chatgpt nerds are still asking it to "act as a marketing expert" and getting generic slop i replaced: - $95K/year CMO (all content + outbound) - $85K/year COO (client ops + fulfillment) - $100K/year CRO (entire sales pipeline) terminal-coding AI guys will tell you to build this in python and install 47 dependencies i clicked a couple buttons, answered a few questions calling it the Rambo Operating System need it for your business? → comment "rambo" for access PS: this actually has a use-case, not no open claw BS

seriously though the portfolio section was very intentional: - most of our portfolio companies do not have recognizable logos, so that would create visual noise - we wanted to feature companies that represent our investment focus - we also wanted to highlight the kinds of funds that have made follow-on investments in our portfolio companies

This week we launched a new website for @CharacterCap! Inspired by technical documentation, the new site is designed to: 1. be ultra legible to humans and machines 2. straightforwardly answer the most common questions founders have 3. describe our differentiation and unique perspective as investors 4. highlight one of our unique advantages (writing) At a time when many teams are building slick websites quickly with AI, we decided to go the other way: hand-crafted and back to basics. I had a lot of fun with this project. 25 years later, I still love making websites. Thanks to @jakek, @eliblee, and Kristen for all the feedback and support. Go check it out at character.vc and please let me know what you think!

Remember when anyone could customize their myspace page? Glitter gifs everywhere, crazy type, etc... Most of them looked like trash, but the ones that were made with taste really stood out? We're in that phase of AI-building right now.

Love Anthony's appreciation for things. The things we appreciate tend to increase in value, while things we don't, tend to depreciate. Gratitude and appreciation leads to a more fulfilling life. youtube.com/watch?v=G7Ues1…

@damianoredem Yeah, I think those that can leverage it and build systems will rise, but that’s probably not the majority. Similar to most markets and positions right now.

@averbs likely unpopular take, but I see most roles "getting a promotion" (not pay) as workers get to "do more with less". assuming workers bring value beyond typing/clicking/researching and other delegated LLM/agent functions

I built the ultimate GTM Engineer AI Toolkit that handles prospect research, outreach writing, meeting prep, and more in minutes. This is a beginner-friendly walkthrough that shows you exactly how to set it up, use it at work, and personalize it to your business. It can: - Research real prospects and companies - Score accounts against your ICP - Write personalized cold outreach sequences - Generate meeting prep briefs before calls - Help you build a repeatable prospecting pipeline - All using a free toolkit + Claude Code / Codex. This is for SDRs, founders, marketers, and GTM operators who want to use AI to do more at work without buying another expensive tool. I break down the full workflow step by step in the video. 👇 Comment "GTM GUIDE" and I’ll send you the full toolkit. (make sure you're following me so I can DM you)

@graceongrid Love this idea! We typically keep memorable moments, things our kids say, etc at each age in a notes file. It’s fun to remember and rediscover as they grow up.

Yeah, I think so too, but I still see a place for generating screens and workflows v1 based on skills and rules of thumb. Especially when code and figma are a click from mirroring each other. Brings accessibility up and down the chain (without having claude code and others set up).

@averbs code based design would have probably still won. improving those framers/modifying them would have been a pain and they weren’t able to extend existing patterns.

Remember when every designer threw a fit about Figma adding AI to create designs from a blank slate?

@RockyRoark So easy for early founders to confuse it. Biggest reason I drill paid pilots before it's even built.

I’m honestly excited for first time founders to be able to create the app they envision. BUILDING AN APP ≠ BUILDING A BUSINESS
