.@bandhanbank_in, why does your revamped app--down for 4 days, causing us disruption--need access to location, gallery, storage & SMSs to run? Justify what need do you have with photos/videos to provide banking services on phone? The app won't run w/o them. Is it even legit @RBI?

@AndipPoddar @bandhanbank_in @RBI The short-sighted strategy of the bank that led to this terrible experience for us. The bank sent a mail this morning stating they continue to face tech issues as users were unable to log into their a/cs. They should have had a proper business continuity plan before upgrading.

@sagrika_giri @bandhanbank_in .@bandhanbank_in's aggressive stance to fetch private data of users is concerning. Banks don't have any business needing our infos like photos, videos, call logs in exchange for letting us to do online txns through their apps. It's time @RBI took note of such unethical practices.
