This is so painful 'cos of how true it is in larger organizations across geographies & industries. Likely hurts, but it is helpful to reflect where I/you are in this chart. #selfawareness For a CxO, an outright rejection of this cartoon is a sign of how true it is 4 their org.

@fuadmiah See, that's the thing. The number does not matter. I wish it did. Like at 5k there is 10% less pressure. Then at 10k, it does down more. Then at 50k the pressure is 90% less. It is the reverse. At 50k there is 300% more pressure. So weird.

I recommend getting out of the office during lunch. Grab some food (thai tofu curry, jasmine rice) and go walk around. I had lunch with geese today, then walked around the campus. So pretty. (I love the new bike racks!)

@avinash If you're trying to avoid the usual suspects both Syncthing and Resilio Sync are very powerful and customizable open source solutions.

#twitterhelp Problem to solve: Keep in sync files btwn 2 laptops that are at diff locations. What's the simplest answer? Tried to hook a drive to my Asus ZenWiFi AX6600 to use as common source, but errors, confusion. Hooked a cheap NAS to home network, laptop won't "discover."

@avinash This is exactly what Google Drive (for Desktop) does. For me this 'just works' all the time. I have mapped it to 'drive G:' and then no matter what laptop I'm on, it's always exactly how I left it (even when using another laptop just before)

@JohnMu @VanMoof : ) Do not disagree with you John. The S5 is a few months out, I was trying to see if I should just get an S3. Not much of a difference (after I did the math).
