@systemdesignone @swapnakpanda Delivery guy app could receive updates via polling or SSE, once merchant backend received update from the bank via webhook. Though socket can be used here, but I don't see the reason.

>QR code has payment details (merchant ID, amount, provider) >Your app scans and decodes it to prep a payment request >When you tap pay, a request gets sent to your bank >Payment gets routed through a network (SEPA, etc) >Merchant’s bank receives and confirms the transaction >Confirmation status gets sent back to your app >Merchant’s system gets notified via backend in real time >Delivery guy’s app updates via WebSocket I have an upcoming newsletter on how payment systems work, btw.

Interviewer: A delivery guy delivered an item to you. Showed his phone with a QR code. You scanned that and instantly it shows how much money you need to pay. Once you paid, he also saw on his screen that payment is completed. How does this work in real-time?

An employee of a startup said he can't join an event. But can help remotely. Nikhil Rana, the founder, immediately fired him on WhatsApp - "You are fired. Take today as your last day." I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with @hmindia. I ordered a T-shirt combo and received a partial order on 11th Feb. I immediately raised a complaint the same day. The customer care team acknowledged it and registered it for a full refund.
