@CrownprinceCom2 NYSC was established in 1973 by General Yakubu Gowan the then Military head of state. To bring about unity integration following the civil war. Is somebody trying to tell me that Tinubu was undergraduate during the civil war?

GOV. DAUDA LAWAL @60: WHERE THERE'S WILL, THERE'S WAY By Sulaiman Bala Idris I have no iota of doubt that Dauda Lawal is one of the most charismatic governors in Nigeria. But one thing I often find challenging to explain to people is his age. People will scream Jesus! and some will look into my eyes and jokingly call me a liar. All because I give accurate information that I am 100% sure about, that Dauda Lawal will be clocking 60 by September 2nd, 2025 (which is today). Sometimes, I get tired of trying to explain it. Even when they eventually accept his age, new conspiracy theories emerge. Some suggest that he appears so youthful and well-kept due to his wealth. Remember the narrative about his asset declaration of 9 trillion? Many believe it. As the governor of Zamfara State, I have much to say about Dauda Lawal, especially since I have been among his closest aides, working closely with him as his spokesman for over two years. In previous years, I have written extensively about Dauda Lawal, the banker and philanthropist. But, as he turns 60 today, I would like to bring out a few aspects of Dauda Lawal as governor, who is transforming Zamfara from a forgotten dungeon into a thriving state across all indices. All the things people say about him being calm, reserved, and neat are accurate. He has changed the attitude of workers, especially those in the Zamfara Government House, who work within the seat of power. They appear presentable with a touch of class, unlike before. Gusau, the capital city, has been given a facelift as an urban centre, as it should be. Road networks and streetlights are everywhere. Gusau, which had no functioning traffic lights in 2023 before the election, now has functioning traffic lights all over the city. The town is neat because the mindset of the people is gradually changing. As an advocate of symbolic interactionism, one of sociology's dominant schools of thought, I have observed the practical application of Charles Horton Cooley's 'Looking Glass Self' theory in Governor Dauda Lawal's management of Zamfara. You might wonder how. The looking-glass self is a concept that explains how individuals form their sense of self based on how they think others perceive them. Through social interactions, people use the judgments they receive from others as a "mirror" to assess their worth, values, and behavior. In the past, what people saw about Zamfara when they looked into the mirror was a state in despair, a state almost wiped out by banditry and poverty, always at the bottom of all educational indices, and without average-standard healthcare facilities. Dauda Lawal, a political scientist, has changed that narrative by integrating sociological theories of functionalism and symbolic interactionism. The Zamfara State that people see in the mirror now is a state competing as one of the best in IGR, education, emerging urban centers, health, and more. Governor Dauda Lawal's rescue mission is evident across all 14 local government areas of Zamfara State, not only in Gusau, the state capital. These major projects span various sectors, including health, education, infrastructure, and other critical areas of importance. Governor Lawal has transformed the General Hospital Anka into a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced medical equipment in Anka Local Government. The hospital underwent a total overhaul. His administration has established the Tsangaya Modern Academy in Gummi Local Government, a school designed to integrate Almajiri students into the contemporary education system. In Bakura Local Government Area, Governor Lawal has renovated and equipped the College of Agricultural Science, providing opportunities for young people to develop their agricultural skills—the backbone of Zamfara's economy.

This afternoon, I visited my dear friend and brother, the “Chief Servant”, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, the former Governor of Niger State, to express my sympathy over the loss of his beloved mother, Hajiya Jamila Aliyu Mu’azu. I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants her a place in Aljannah Firdaus and provides the family she left behind with the strength and solace needed during this difficult time.

Has anyone noticed that Peter “De Maradona” Obi @PeterObi usually post on his X handle all his activities including construction of inhumane borehole. But strangely he has not put out any post regarding his 3 visits to 3 northern elders due to his empathy for northerners. It’s either the Maradona is dribbling e-rodents or the empathized northerners. Lefa se fareh

SHE LEADS THE PACK Hajia Aishat Ibrahim popularly known and referred to as Aisha Madina is a leader in her own right. Her political journey is fraught with a lot of intrigue and turns and her ability to surmount the surging challenges fits her description as a Colossus. As a lady of substance and a family woman Madina is blessed with two beautiful daughters who are carved in her image. It is no wonder that as a mother she had weathered the storm to give them an upbringing that is envious, unprecedented, and unparalleled. Her stint as the state PDP women's leader catapulted her into the national spotlight. She was found worthy by her colleagues and contemporaries to lead them as the chairperson of the PDP National Women Leaders Association. Before that, she was a special Assistant to a governor and a zonal women leader of zone 2 in Kaduna State. Her meteoric rise to the national limelight drew the attention of critical stakeholders who found in her a quality of firmness, fairness, focus, and fidelity. She had undergone so many PDP national assignments and had never been found wanting. She was the acting women leader of the northwest zone before the election and contested for the Doka/ Gabasawa constituency seat in the state house of assembly. The use of only statutory delegates had a negative role on her aspiration even though her performance was superlative and commendable. She was part of the PDP caretaker committee of Katsina state when the substantive executives were dissolved as a result of the Shema/ Lado crisis of confidence. Acknowledging the party-established zoning formula and appreciating that positions are normally rotated between the North and the South and in her efforts to reposition the party to greatness she accepted the challenge of her teeming supporters to throw her hat into the ring and contest for the women leader position. With her wealth of experience, revolutionary ideas, and love for the People's Democratic Party, the sky seems to be the limit for this gorgeous Amazon. It is safe to say without any iota of doubt that she is ready, able, and capable of taking the gauntlet and leading the pack while the rest who claim to be part of the race follow.

This was inside Edo State Government House in September 2020. These men left the comfort of their States' to coordinate Obaseki's reelection against Oshiomole forces. They were visibly exhausted that day... May I add that Chief Dan Orbih was in the field coordinating the PDP machineries. Sadly, the man they sacrificed their time, resources and efforts for turned back to bite them. Yes, I personally snapped this photo for record purposes.
