Just hooked Claude Cowork into our customer support Slack where tickets flow in. Had it scan the full ticket history, then summarize the biggest issues/requests by frequency and severity. Now it auto-posts a weekly roundup in #general every Monday. Massive unlock.

The bar for building products with great retention has been raised significantly. * There's more competition * Your moats will disappear faster * Power-users can and will churn overnight * Signals you previously leaned on to identify retention drivers are now far less reliable

And yet, I simply asked ChatGPT to export everything it knew about me into a set of markdown files and uploaded them to Claude. 2 days later, I didn't miss ChatGPT at all, and haven't opened it since. Subscription cancelled.

Over the last 12 months, I've churned from every single paid AI product I've used. Cursor ChatGPT Plus Github Copilot v0 Notion AI Gemini Warp Figma Make ...and many more (1 month into using Claude + Claude Code - love it, but TBD) And it's not because the products are bad.

@stevenjr76 @SEC With the transfer portal enabling student movement, I’m surprised coaching deals have gotten longer instead of shorter. If I were a school with resources, I’d overpay on a 3 year deal. Coaches still get paid and big name credentials. Avoids buyouts if it doesn’t work

The @SEC schools are in this vicious cycle of having to pay massive buyouts. There are only going to be 2-3 elite teams in the next 5-7 years. There are 16 teams. Each program will spend big to hire a coach, and most of these coaches will get fired because they won’t win a title. Only reason top coaches will go is because of the payday. Otherwise why not coach in another conference with less competition and where you can win. Does not seem sustainable.

This will be a very common experience people have with AI-powered products over the next 2-3 years 1) Ask AI for help 2) It gets you 60% of the way there, but makes some mistakes 3) You ask it to correct or clarify 4) You run out of credits, get upsold to buy more
