[NEWS] Dealers just filed a class-action lawsuit over Scout’s DTC model: The suit, filed in federal court in Virginia, names Scout Motors, Scout Motors Sales, Volkswagen Group of America, and Volkswagen AG as defendants. Two dealers—Volkswagen of West Islip (NY) and Curran Volkswagen (CT)—are serving as the class representatives. But the case automatically covers every Volkswagen dealer in the U.S. The core claims: - Breach of contract (Against all four defendants.) - Conspiracy to injure a business relationship (Against all four defendants.) - And interfering with a contract (Against only the Scout defendants.)
