Appalling mistake by @Ryanair. They gave advance notice that the website & app would be down for a few hours starting at 23.00 on 10 March. But the systems went down at 22.00 on 9 March!

@Number10cat Gosh Larry @Number10cat. I think "Sod Off" is a pretty mild response. To me, Remembrance Day is giving thanks to many, many in the armed forces, from not only my own country but also her allies, for what they have done in various conflicts, not only WWII.

The 8th May has been marked as VE Day since before Trump was born. VE stands for Victory in Europe. There is also a VJ Day - Victory over Japan day in August. As for the First World War, the idea that some Yank who refused to serve in the military, will command people around the world not to call it Rembrance Day is laughable. Sod off.
