@primaryteachew @LbQorg God transition is key . We have 191 children transitioning from year 4 to 5 . Working closely with linked schools has improved this .

We rehauled reading when I started my school in January and everyone took a chance on what I said would work. Today my class did their reading assessments and I could cry I’m so impressed with how they’ve done. It’s just unbelievable the progress!! Great teacher day today 🥰

Spurs & ALL of our football family ⚽️💕 Newest update (9/10/24) on my health battle 😄 - Ellie Hurer, Spurs babe🤍🐓, bit sick at the moment but still living life✌️) Sorry for being so quiet, I deteriorated yday night and had to have some help to become more stable. This stuff is scary guys 😭 Yesterday, I found out I am having my big surgery on 21st November. So I’ve got two weeks to prepare here in hospital! Depending on the success of the surgery, we will be discussing the exact next steps which include more surgery, radiotherapy & some forms of laser (?!) treatment. I just wanted to say again that I am BLOWN away from all of your kindness, support, generosity etc. I have genuinely never felt so loved in my life. Please know that every single comment, letter/package, “love”/“retweet” means more to me than you’ll ever know & your making the worst time in someone’s life to a lot better. 21 years ago my wife and I received a complimentary copy of You Choose courtesy of the wonderful charity @Booktrust to share with our newborn daughter. As a primary phase teacher I have shared it ever since with pupils of all ages - it is by far my favourite picture book.

UPDATE: I’ve never made money from any of my resources. I strongly believe in sharing good practice and lessening workload. However, a good colleague of mine was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and so once live on @tes I’ll post the link with proceeds going to charity 💓

We've had three third year teaching students start this week, and all three have commented that one thing they've noticed is we don't 'have' learning objectives in that we don't tell the kids them, display them, write them in books etc. They also noticed it makes no difference.
