France doesn’t have an innovation problem. It has a “everyone got used to broken systems” problem.
I’m 17, and I just had to generate 950,000 route points because the official Aix-en-Provence bus data was so imprecise that vehicles in my app could literally drive through buildings.
So I compared every official route PDF with the real map, corrected the points manually for hours, then built a program to densify the entire network down to one point every two metres.
I’m starting to wonder how many systems stay mediocre simply because everyone eventually stops questioning them.
What broken system have people around you completely accepted?
