@JamesMelville I finished uni in 2007. The financial crash happened and I never got a decent job until 2013 after I went back to uni for a yr. Then I had kids and my pay took a hit. Earning 25k for the first time in my life now (I’m in my 40s). I owe upwards of £45k on that loan from 2007.

The student loan scam. This is absolutely insane. Just look at the recent enormous jump in interest on student loans. Interest on loans is more than the repayments for many students. They will be saddled with enormous debts (and high interest) for years.

@MattieJameson Glad I’m not the only one thinking this! I’ve always thought it was rubbish! Having to add offers rather than them just being on the card already used to really annoy me. It’s never been worth using. Don’t get me started on the amount of preservatives/extras in their food now!

The M&S ‘sparks card’ is a total disgrace. The money I’ve spent in there recently and I have absolutely zero offers or rewards. It’s a full on scam & needs a total overhaul. I can’t believe how bad it is.

I'm in my useless GPs waiting room. An old man is upset as he'd come in to make an appointment. The cow on reception is telling him he has to do it online at home. I offered to help him& gave him my number. Now they've appeared with an iPad to go through the 'war & peace' e-forms he's got to fill out. Probably starting with "are you pregnant?"
