I sincerely feel terrible for Jordan Love.
Earns his way to first round contention.
Then through no fault of his own is drafted directly into Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey in Green Bay.
Will now never have a shot there, and have to battle the odds for a career.
Last two @MonarchsMKE home games I had competing organizer events meaning my arrival for set up was late and frenetic. With no such competition today I just dropped my first load at the park, 8.5 hours before game time.
Just the way I like it.
@awdavidson19@jberggren40 They can try, but they may have no legal leverage to do anything. They could have regulated this at the onset, but chose instead to play “chicken” that the Supreme Court would prevent NIL from ever happening. When they lost, they may have hamstrung themselves forever on this.
If every Badger fan that complained about transfers and called for Gard to be fired contributed to the Varsity Collective we would be able to afford Chucky and Storr 10x over.
Transfers today have very little to do with coaching, and everything to do with 💰
I don’t like it either, but that’s the reality of college sports today.
When there is no protection for schools, players go to the highest bidder. That’s the only thing that matters
@bling_adam@jberggren40 The NCAA will have to address this and I think they will. Whether it’s a two-year commitment or paying back money, they will do something. Right now it’s a bad product and they’re turning fans off.
@jberggren40 Anyone disagreeing with this is completely out of touch with this new landscape of college athletics. The NCAA had a chance to regulate this, and chose to put their attention elsewhere. Remember, people, starters at blue bloods are also transferring, not just here at WI.
@twopennies1989@EmmanuelAcho It was 100% a moving screen with a push. The real question is, was that foul being consistently called throughout the game?
