.@kumandgo & @pepsi are partnering with the Foundation, AGAIN, to support Back to School Grants! For the ENTIRE month of July, Pepsi will donate 5 cents for 20oz Pepsi product sold. AND...July 29, Gallons for Growth! @kumandgo will donate 5 cents for EVERY gallon gas sold!

Teachers don’t always need a new strategy, a new activity, or a new resource. Sometimes… what they need is some encouragement. They need to be reminded that they are professionals, that they are good at what they do, and that what they are doing every day really does matter.

If you’re a teacher… don’t assume your students know you care about them. You gotta show ‘em… every day. If you’re an administrator... don’t assume your teachers know you support them. You gotta show ‘em… every day.

I used to have a sticky note on my desk that just said, "You're not marking errors. You're identifying trends." This is one of the most important pieces of advice regarding feedback I can offer. Kids don't need to know what they did wrong. They need to know what to learn next.
