@elonmusk You might find votes across the entire political spectrum, because addiction, mental illness, housing costs, family breakdown, veterans’ issues, and economic hardship don’t fit neatly into one party box.

@VeeranHolt @conservmillen I just think "fascist" is a term that's being bandied about without any care towards anyone in politics that people don't like. For anyone who is curious on what fascism is by definition, I recommend reading the essay Ur-Fascism by Umberto Eco, it takes 10 min.

I’m sure you don’t know what I’m sure of. I’m talking about Talarico. Not historically. The current administration is not headed towards government control over individual rights. The left in the US is the party of exponentially expanding government (education, taxation, guns, free speech) so much that current political right is not even in the ballpark of fascism. As Talarico thinks Texas should be Americas “front door”, Talarico is the front door to fascism in the US.

James Talarico, you can’t claim to love your neighbor while supporting abortion, gender ideology that harms children, open-border policies that endanger Americans, or progressive justice policies that put violent offenders back on the streets. You can’t love your neighbor while affirming sin, denying biblical truth, or preaching a gospel contrary to Christ. The people harmed by these policies are your neighbors too. You are an insult to Christianity. Your beliefs are an affront to the Imago Dei and I look forward to Texans showing you out of politics in November and hopefully you are shown out of the pulpit as well.

@VeeranHolt @conservmillen Am not sure that you know what fascism means. There are right and left wing parties all over the world. Fascism historically happens on the far right. Saying that Talarico concerns you because he leans towards socialism would be a valid concern because that occurs on the left.

Talarico represents more of the " left" than you might be comfortable with, but he is not on the far right so fascism doesn't fit.

This evening, the president posted this, literally presenting himself as Jesus. He’s not doing anything to stave off the anti-Christ allegations. If any Democrat president did this, Evangelical Christians would implode. But will they speak out against this? I highly doubt it.

@megbasham @ryanburge No. The Catholic Church has taken a strong stance against gay marriage as well as abortion, all of the pro life protests in my town have been led by our Catholic church. You just want to hate on them because they support immigrants and are against the war in Iran.

@conservmillen A family member made a statement that they tried to bring him inside and ICE refused. Multiple school officials also came forward and said that a teacher who knew him offered to care for him, and ICE refused. Stop with the false narratives & advertising.

My heart also breaks for this child. How horrible it must have been to watch his father abandon him, his mother refuse to let him inside, and to be cared for by complete strangers.
