Started giving a colleague free rides because we live in the same area, now she expects me to pick her up every morning and drop her every evening like I’m her personal Uber. Today I had my own plans, went to the bank early… she called saying she’s waiting for me 🤦‍♂️ When I said I was busy, she called me a bad person and said I should’ve informed her earlier. Had to tell her straight, from tomorrow use Uber or start paying. Am I the bad one here or did she get too comfortable? 🤔

But for no reason whatsoever she shouldn’t label me as bad person for not turning up just once and I did have my reason not that I just left her and head to work on my own which I can do.

The proper thing to have done is to communicate with her that, you would be busy for that day or tell her you won't be available to pick her anymore, instead you left her in limbo

So yes, in that instance you are a bad person and it has nothing to do with entitlement

She told me she was having housing issues, I sent a couple hundred thousands, about 2 months later, she told me the new place had bad water and she had to move again, I felt bad, I was broke but I sent same amount again to support. Didn’t hear from her for a few weeks and the next time I heard from her she was calling from a UK number, relocated without me knowing, I put 2 and 2 together and realized, the housing issue was a way of gathering relocation funds. I felt hurt, haven’t returned her calls till today. I will eventually but right now I need a break. It’s been 2 years. I considered her a big sister, she’s about 8 years older than I am.

I remember the day the driver was supposed to pick me and my brother from school and my dad sent him on another assignment and informed my mum to pick us instead and she forgot, I played ball to my heart’s content that day, after everyone went home, we went to the gate for them to finally call my mum and met a girl there crying whose parents also forgot, they had already called hers and then by 7pm my mum came to pick us up, she was just apologizing and we seized the opportunity to make her get us sharwarma, meat pie and ice cream which we ate then slept off in the car till we got home we always prayed for more days like that but unfortunately the mistake never repeated itself💔, lowk one of my best primary school experiences.

January last year, we raised money to free a corper that was kidnapped in Rivers State on her way to camp from Ibadan. She was released and has been with her family since. Some Twitter people were made at me snd warned me not to do it again that it would encourage more kidnap.
