To be clear it’s not a diving board trackpad, it’s a multi touch trackpad with the same gestures and whatnot that you are used to with any other Mac. It’s identical in experience. The feedback from click just doesn’t come from a haptic motor

Another small way the MacBook Neo was decontented besides slow ports: it doesn't have a Force Touch trackpad.

@TailosiveTech I do and don't see why they didn't just make both ports usb3 capable, and simply limit the second port after the first is used, but then that could lead to the wrong item getting prioritized if the user plugs things in in the "wrong order". They still should been labeled tho

RE: MacBook Neo USB-C ports—found this clip via diego.caraballo on MacRumors forums. The way the Neo does it (no marking, two entirely different port capabilities) is the worst of both worlds :(

@DylanMcD8 I keep thinking that they could/would update it just for the people that need the expandability of the PCIE ports, but at the same time, thunderbolt is fast enough, they can just get an external enclosure and be satiated as well.

@Goothr3nMusic @paytondev I think it’s seen as weird cause you don’t normally see one major company so openly reverse engineering another companies software protocols like this. Also partly weird cause everyone is so use to not being able to do certain things unless you have one single brands everything.

@DylanMcD8 iPhone 16 is only available in 128. its got 126 and 256 on the plus, but then youd have to go for the 17, so its still a bit of a discount for the higher capacities, but yeah

It arrived! Packaging is awful (classic Nintendo), but the controller feels and looks great (save for the wretched ZL button that’s the size of a grain of rice lol).
