Math Question:
Street is running a short swaps position on $SOL against the discounted buying of locked SOL from the bankruptcy estate of FTX. The leverage ratio of the short is L (i.e. the ratio of shorts measured in $ to $equity). Derive the Gamma position of the street as a function of L assuming the street is rebalancing its position daily in order to maintain this leverage ratio L.

Reverse decay on options during the day, 1d straddle kept going up in price.
Market seems underprepared for the ETH ETF vs BTC where there was a lot more anticipation and positioning going into the event.
Expect more fireworks.

#FridayExpiry [1/2] $ETH Options Notional Value: $1.3b, 12% of total OI. Spot rally passed the cluster of OIs from 3000 to 3600. For the upside there are 17k OI of 4000c, apart from that positioning is pretty light. Market had a big reprice of $ETH ETF probability this week, and sparked 30%+ move on ETH, finally catching up after months long of underperformance vs $BTC. Market is expecting announcement from regulators today afternoon US time.

riiiite.... We at Bastion use calabi-yau manifolds to construct order book models that reveal hidden markov processes that are only observable in the 12th dimension. For trading though, we use a much simpler cross spectral density analysis to predict inter-exchange lead-lag flow
