I have to congratulate @aylinsdincer on this recent work at @ScienceTM science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… . Inspired by prior publications by the @holtzman4 lab showing APOE genotype influenced tau pathology in mice Aylin investigated this effect using human neuroimaging and CSF measures.

Our tau imaging-neuropathology comparison paper is now published at ACTN dx.doi.org/10.1002/acn3.5…. Our results suggest tau imaging measures greater tau neurofibrillary tangle, neuropil thread, and neuritic plaque pathology in autosomal dominant versus late-onset Alzheimer disease.
