Agenda is crazy sha 😅😅 Fell for it in 2023. Never again. Now I actually go to source materials to get context. All these 15 seconds crop of analogies for agenda will do us no good 😂😂. That’s how they cropped the church rat eating poisoned meal analogy too which made perfect sense if you simply listened to 5 mins before that analogy. Chai…. Put your education to use na. I know our attention span has gotten shorter over time but 30 mins is not too long. Is this how you want to continually be swayed by the wind of agenda?

You are my soulmate. You are my best friend. You are my true love. My life never felt complete until you turned up that day, entered my life, and captured my heart. I don't have the words to express what you really mean to me.

@BlehisBack The church rat eating a poisoned holy communion analogy you guys are praising though? If only you know what the holy communion is, you’d know it was a big insult to Christianity.

Before I tweet anything, I do research and actually ask people questions, especially when I don’t have internal info. A junior associate who’s a frontend engineer at Moniepoint sent me a screenshot alert of his last salary payment directly from his bank app. When I initially asked him for his pay, he said it’s not a fixed figure because they add bonuses that are not fixed, and he went ahead to send the last salary payment screenshot from his mobile app. I’ve trained so many engineers in Nigeria, like a lot. Probably one of the top three largest tech training institutions in the country. I know HNG is number one. So when someone says there’s no good talent in the country, I’m also not happy about it. But I need you to know that we’re a growing ecosystem. So many people reading this tweet right now cannot point to 10 desktop engineers they know, or five game developers. You probably don’t even know 10 motion designers too. I’m not saying we don’t have them. I’m saying that you, reading this right now, probably can’t name them because you don’t know them. There’s also a huge responsibility for large companies to invest in training and employee pipelines. That’s why I also complained about the Dangote issue last year. We have a problem, and we need to agree on that. But Nigerians are also hardworking and technically global. We can’t deny that, and we should not undersell it. If you’re reading this and you know a junior technical associate in Moniepoint who’s earning below 1M. Please DM me proof, and I’ll legit add a follow up tweet to my initial tweet and apologise.

Lol, it’s not even decent. It’s high. The entry-level salary (junior associate/intern) for any technical role at Moniepoint is 1M+ per month. The current issue is that the TL is now filled with fake screenshots and personal views painted as objective discussions.

Yes, the thousand and one Moniepoint agents that are working for him, living on exploitative wages, yet they show up to the job, are now not bright cause they are working for Moniepoint and in the same vein fighting for their life. Anything wey make una enter politics, na mass level extinction for us

We need to be careful how we push agendas in this place. For some of us who have been privileged to know Tosin and the kind of person he is, seeing all this vitriol on the TL is incredibly infuriating. Tosin has paid his dues. and continues to pay his dues. Literally thousands of Nigerians made it out the trenches because of what Tosin built at Moniepoint. He has supported tons of initiatives to create opportunities for younger people. In schools, in communities. The man even owns a whole ass foundation. Yes, Tosin Eniolorunda Foundation, that is supporting students in STEM. He continues to give and give. tosineniolorundafoundation.com/programs Why do people just like to be loud and wrong?

The same Moniepoint was the headline sponsor for BBNaija in 2023. Ask Tosin how many tech schools and Stem scholarships he sponsors, also check the figures in terms of monetary contributions.

Tosin Eniolorunda and his co-Founder are Nigerian trained. All of the day one guys at Moniepoint are Nigerians and most of them are still with the company and doing very well. Moniepoint employ, in total, almost 30,000 Nigerians. They are a top employer in NIGERIA 🇳🇬. They pay a minimum of 75% percentile of the market. Junior Developers earn N1M monthly. Most earn N3M and some earn N4M monthly. They have people who earn around N10M monthly! Moniepoint remains one of the highest transacting companies in AFRICA. They are a world-class company. And if Moniepoint did not exist, Nigeria would have gone to CHINA, completely. Tosin must have spoken from a place of deep passion and pain because human capital in Nigeria is low. I have tweeted about this several times as well. Yes, we have good talent, but when you look at the larger population of the country, we have so much work to do. This is a FACT! By the way, Moniepoint has paid some employees a million dollar in stock options (IN CASH). And there are at least 15-20 people who work with Moniepoint in Nigeria who are dollar millionaires! So, to say they underpay or they take advantage of cheap labour is redundant and lazy talk. Again, criticisms should be fair and balanced. But Business Leaders should never shy away from shedding light on challenges across the country. PS: MONIEPOINT HAS PRODUCED A GEN Z A BILLIONAIRE!! JULIAN DUMEBI DURU IS ALIVE AND WELL, AND HAS TOLD HIS STORY. He was a Product Manager, then a Software Architect, before the final promotion to Principal Engineer all at Moniepoint 👏🏽👏🏽.
