Strengthening the long-term reliability of XRP starts with the systems that move it. The first formal specification of the XRPL Payment Engine is now published with @CommonPrefix. This is the core logic that powers every XRP transfer and multi-asset payment on the network. This work is an important step toward bringing formal verification, the standard used in banking and aerospace, to core XRPL components. It’s a top-tier team of engineers and scientists advancing blockchain technology and working with dozens of L1s, dApps, and institutions, including Mysten Labs, Babylon, and Sei. In particular, they’ve been working with Axelar since 2021, even before mainnet launch In other words, Common Prefix is not a newcomer, it’s a professional team that has been building at the highest level for years 𝐒𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦? While Circle’s acquisition of the Interop Labs team is a significant event, the fundamentals remain unchanged: Axelar is still an independent, permissionless protocol driving interoperability forward Let’s be honest: Bitcoin's story didn't end when Satoshi stepped away. Neither did Compound's or Yearn's. Axelar's fundamentals remain: the network, the validators, the tech The focus of this transition aren't the values, but validators and the broader Axelar community Key priorities for 2026 include: ○ Better incentive alignment: eliminate unprofitable connections, prioritize high-impact networks (XRPL, Sui, Solana, Ethereum, Stellar, Hyperliquid, etc.) ○ AXL token re-evaluation (considering its alignment with validator economics) ○ Co-staking: enabling co-staking of blue chip assets to strengthen economic security ○ Gasless bridging The full roadmap is available here ➲ commonprefix.com/blog/axelar-ro… 𝑾𝒆’𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒆𝒓𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒙𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓
