@NotWIMM I see the same issue with these primers - I purchased from 2 different sources and have this "contamination" that starts late like this. I don't think it is contamination - I think it is an issue with the design of the primers.

We (& others) are having some issues with manufacturer contamination of #COVID19 Covid QPCR test primers with CDC Covid N1 and N2 probe reactive DNA. The red amplification curves below are with various primers/probes from 2 manufactures and no added template.
