I started my day by hopping into a Waymo and having it drive me from my home on the Peninsula to my office in SF. 33 miles. Two freeways (280 and 101). Rush hour traffic. Bumper to bumper. 46 minutes. And it was perfect. Seamless. I had two confidential calls to make. No driver listening. And, btw, 30% cheaper (when including tip) than my old ride hailing service. This is the future.
And it was perfect for today, when we (@BessemerVP) announced our financial support of this world-changing company, @Waymo. Thank you @TechTekedra, @dmitri_dolgov for inviting us on the journey.
