@DearthOfSid Athe… I expected at least a decent watch. When even the fan boys / man boys started giving negative reviews, my expectations actually went up. But man… what a huge let-off in the second half.

@InvestRepeat @Munnaa_Bhaiya You can see another pattern Who ever wins or lose ldf projections are slightly underestimated and Udf projections are slightly over estimated. Diff in Supporters response behaviours may be the reason.

@Munnaa_Bhaiya True. Though "poll of polls" has hardly ever been wrong. If majority of exit polls are indicating something, high chance of that happening. Of course, some misses are there, not 100% strike rate.

@comradarjun The first and second halves don’t gel at all.Was the story originally meant to be a real Pegasus analogue,more like the Rona Wilson angle with the initial interview of victims when film starts and then later watered down, reworked,stripped of most of the political commentary?

Patriot ഒരു average one time watchable movie, 10 കൊല്ലം മുമ്പേ ഇറങ്ങേണ്ട പടം. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ജനറേഷൻ knows a lot more than the movie and may feel boring, ഒരു documentary ഇടയിൽ fight scene വെച്ചപോലെ അവർക്ക് തോന്നും. Older folks might like it better.

@Carrizer You’re right though,if he doesn’t put more thought into his career now, it could drift off track. Audiences aren’t as forgiving these days, and chances won’t keep coming.

@Carrizer Aavesham as a character really worked. At times he feels repetitive,the loud, bureaucratic type,but when I think about Joji, Aavesham, and the rest… he is good. He somehow gives off both mediocre and great actor vibes, switching between the two pretty often.

@bhakisundar People who care about good cinema shouldn’t fall into this trap. Appreciate filmmakers across industries and build a community that supports and promotes quality films everywhere.

@bhakisundar Malayalam audiences are more willing to give such films or somewhat realistic films a chance ,that’s all. All this “Malayalam best vs Hindi best vs family best” noise mostly comes from people who prefer formula films. It has little to do with what actually makes good cinema.

No disrespect to Malayalam cinema, but not all of their widely celebrated films resonate with everyone here. Some self-proclaimed cinephiles are quick to call many Malayalam films masterpieces, but they might not even bother watching a similar film if it came from Tamil cinema.

@SonuSood @LambaAlka Unscientifically modified boats packed with extra passengers turn deadly when they capsize,people can get trapped inside, and a life jacket won’t save them. Focusing only on whether passengers wore life jackets downplays the real issue.

A while ago I tweeted about the Bihar boat tragedy, urging life jackets for every passenger. Then came Vrindavan… and now Madhya Pradesh, more lives lost the same way. How many more? It’s time to make it mandatory: no boat should leave without every passenger wearing a life jacket. We also need a govt portal where each trip uploads time-stamped proof of all passengers in life jackets before departure. Only strict accountability can save lives.
