Co-founder series part III:
@pairofcarkeys and I went to our first SF party. Shit was pretty litty mclitterson.
Luca couldn’t find anyone who wanted to dance with him. So he spent the night courting a robot.
If you feel bad for him and want to be his friend, please use @youraidouble and send in an application.
The last 3% is a different product.
An agent can get 97% of the way there, but if a human still has to check every action, you haven’t really unlocked autonomy.
It’s like a self-driving car that still needs someone behind the wheel.
The real jump in value comes from governance: clear policies, permissions, audit trails, and humans stepping in only when something goes wrong.
Better models matter.
But trust infrastructure is what lets them actually run.
Thoughts emerged in my prefrontal cortex after eating 3 in-n-out double doubles.
Why are we depriving the world of betterment by only having ABG CMOs? Why not ABB(boy) CMOs or P(polish)BB(boy) CMOs. So on so forth…
Thus, I am proud
to announce - Double’s newest PBB CMO: @pairofcarkeys
Co-founder series part II:
Due to a lack of personal hygiene, Luca was on his deathbed yesterday.
Now he’s back on the office, grinding on our AI-native B2C SAAS.
This is the dedication it takes to be a startup founder.
Please applaud him, everyone.

@BrendanFoody Hence frontier models will mostly never reach their full potential and the value will instead be delivered by local models. Where software will be built in-house or customized for each company.
I keep hearing people argue that continual learning on enterprise usage data will solve the data bottleneck for foundation models.
No Fortune 500 will allow this. Their enterprise data is their competitive advantage.
Authorizing a foundation model to train on it is like giving a competitor access to your Slack workspace and GitHub repository.

"I spent 30 minutes screening and he was clearly cheating. It's the 7th time this month!!!"
AI has made so much noise that good candidates are suffering. Good luck hiring FDEs and AI engineers today.

AI agents can navigate ERP, CRM, and production system. That doesn’t mean they should be allowed to post to it unchecked.
The gap between a capable demo and a trustworthy production system is an enforcement layer outside the model.

If you're looking for a job or internship, we think we can help. The average person applies to 200+ jobs before hearing back. Most assume the fix is to apply more, but that just drives down quality and results. The truth is applying is only a sliver of what you need to do.
Double helps you:
- figure out what you're truly looking for
- finds matching roles
- build your resumes & cover letters
- optimizes your materials based on what has actually worked for those roles
- builds + maintains relationships with the right people
- automates the entire apply process
- and a lot fucking more
This is an early version, so please reach out to @pairofcarkeys or @LoupWang with feedback and/or errors you encounter. We promise that anything bugs reported to us will be fixed within 24 hours.
