@My_Metro You might want to put an update out for everyone that the whole metro system is down, and no one can get home using it, as monument staff are turning away everyone. Just so people are aware please.

@My_Metro They’ve closed all the gates off and are saying to everyone that they have to get buses and the metros are off all systemwide. Please speak to them and make them aware this isn’t the case because they are turning everyone away!

@My_Metro Can you please put out an update from for people travelling towards Sunderland/south Hylton that the metro service is suspended from Newcastle and the system is fully off. The monument staff are turning everyone away so it’s probably vital this is updated on here!

TICKET ACCEPTANCE No trains running Pelaw - South Hylton in both directions. Stagecoach are accepting Metro tickets and passes on their services in the area.
