@JPrawo_Premium @marktournier2 @ShadowofEzra The face wouldn't look like that. it's lit from all four sides, including a small led light from below, to remove the shadow that forms under the chin. If the conditions are right the shirt will create a shadow on the neck.
English

@azorus89 @marktournier2 @ShadowofEzra If the light were actually coming from below, he would look just like the man in the photo. Do you see that highlight on top of his bald head? You really have no idea how people are lit on TV.

English

@marktournier2 @ShadowofEzra It's not off. On Fox News they use lighting that shines from the bottom up towards his face, so the edge of his collar creates an unusual shadow on his neck.

@alluringmedia The camera this guy uses warps everybody's movements, and makes them look more wierd than usual.

@NinaPanickssery @oldestasian You should delete your incorrect comment.
English

@oldestasian it depends on how badly your nose is blocked but yeah adrenaline goes up and blood vessels in nose dilate and some blood drains from their making sinuses wider thereby unblocking nose. this is also how decongestant medicine works and why decongestants are stimulants

@pcroland2 @jzipple Yes, I'm from a Catholic country, and TLM is almost non-existent here. After V2 people just followed what the clergy thought, as it's been like that forever. It's strong in USA because they all have that individualistic and rebellious spirit they got from the Prots.
English

@jzipple Trads are basically an Anglophone online phenomenon with small clusters in France and Germany. If you speak English in the internet, you will think that it’s a mega-issue, but if you touch grass outside or realize the world is bigger than America, you realize it’s not.
English

@SamanthaRedeemd You're right to point that out. Even if we disagree with something we should always remain respectful. It's what Christ would want. Even though a new Catholic, you're already showing spiritual maturity, and now do yourself a favour and listen to what that Voice is telling you.
English

@buttonslives Tha Catholic Church has Apostolic Succession, valid Sacraments, most elaborate theology, founded by Christ, and visible structure and unity across the whole world, just as He promised. Every other church lacks one or more of the things from the list. You're welcome home.

@HungaryBased Alice Weidel is a personified walking contradiction of every European conservative belief and the fact that she's a leader of the largest German right wing party means that whole political spectrum is a big joke.

@KenCook_KC @ClownWorld No, the retail prices are illogical, because first of all they can easily be bought and sold between people, because rocks can last forever without losing a cent of it's value. And if the delivery is not included in the price, than it's much cheaper to get it anywhere else.
English

There are people who like to landscape their yards with these boulders. Example below. I don't fully understand it but I do understand the labor and cost that is involved to dig these out of the ground in some forest and bring them to a retail store.
The woman is probably getting off cheaply here. If I was asked to locate and haul one of these monstrosities to her home, I'd charge her much more than $175 per boulder.

@riv47399 @Sachinettiyil In a today's world it is rare and beautiful that a particular government still honours the faith of their populace.
English

@Sachinettiyil There is no separation of church and religion in Costa Rica, just like in Iran, Kuwait, Iraq. We have it here in the US for a reason. You know you can move to Costa Rica or any of those countries where church and government is one
English

@AmericanPolack @ron_m70826 @Sachinettiyil High Church Anglicans are closer to Catholics than Huguenots in theology and liturgy, so why cheer for them 😂
English

@ron_m70826 @Sachinettiyil Except French Huguenot settlers at Fort Caroline in present day Jacksonville, FL, arrived and had worship services roughly a year before the Spaniards arrived at St. Augustine. Pedro Menendez de Aviles (bastard that he was) massacred those French settlers after he arrived.

@Daboochy @PrayTheRosary I'm glad for you. It's the cross both we and many other people have to carry. May God turn it into a blessing.
English

@azorus89 @PrayTheRosary I think I'm getting better about that. I still have a lot of social anxiety and tend to over-analyze every single little thing I do during mass, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.
English

I often worry that I don't love God enough. That I'm just going through the motions and trying to get by. I feel like I avoid certain things out of fear of hell, instead of love of God. I wish that wasn't so. To me, obedience to God is loving God, regardless of what I actually wanna do. A lot of Catholics enjoy going to Mass, whereas for me, it's a struggle due to intrusive thoughts and it's a chore. I know that most of this is likely scrupulosity but that doesn't make it any easier. St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Alphonsus Liguori, and St. Ignatius of Loyola all dealt with this constant mental torment and persistent worry. I'm tired.
