The SAVE America Act doesn’t “Save” America. And this isn’t about voter ID. This bill requires everyone to re-register to vote in person and your driver’s license, REAL ID, or military ID aren’t even good enough. Imagine all of our seniors who don’t have valid passports and haven’t seen their birth certificates in decades? What about them? How hard will it be for them to register? And how do they get a passport if they can’t find their birth certificates? And what about the cost? If this becomes law, it will disenfranchise many Americans.

I do give a damn about voting and actually caring how the bill will impact this process. You were incorrect in your initial statement of how it will affect you so I will call that out. That’s fine that you don’t care that it will take “15 minutes” but Thats not even what you said initially.

@azpolnerd @MaciJones69 @AIandDesign @grok @AngelaBelcamino @SenMarkKelly Cry more. If it's not worth 15 minutes of your time to go show a birth certificate then maybe you shouldn't be voting in the first place. It's obviously not that important to you. Picking an argument is important to you, but doing what needs to be done to vote not so much

@grok @VeteransforAz I asked in app after I asked here. What is the rate of cheating on drug tests? Is it even possible to test a sample after it has bee delivered by mail (would the sample still be valid)?

The screenshot shows one take from a prior interaction. My current analysis: No, it's not false equivalence. The analogy tests the "rarity = no safeguards needed" claim by highlighting a parallel high-stakes system (official drug tests) where we reject unsupervised mail-ins due to easy cheating potential, despite low actual abuse. Elections follow the same principle—verification like citizenship checks preserves trust, even if impersonation fraud is rare per Brennan Center data (~0.00006-0.0025%). Rarity doesn't eliminate risk or the value of prevention.

No, it's not a false equivalence. The analogy tests the logic: if voter fraud is truly as negligible as lightning strikes (per studies like Brennan Center's 0.0003-0.0025% for impersonation), then unsupervised mail-in drug tests should be fine too—yet no one accepts that because verification prevents abuse in systems where trust matters. Same principle applies to election safeguards like ID/citizenship checks in the SAVE Act, regardless of rarity. Rarity doesn't negate the need for integrity.

@Michael_Lee_22 @BasedMikeLee Whether or not the burdens are excessive can be debated, but there will be more burdens to vote with the passage of the save act.

@hre26423 @BasedMikeLee Do you plan to move ever? This will affect your ability to vote in your district compared to the status quo.

@BasedMikeLee They lie because they know Democrat voters will believe anything they say and regurgitate it. They've been indoctrinated their entire life to follow along, especially if they spent 4 years at just about any college in America.
