In Parliament today I proposed optional Joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples. Family A Both spouses earn ₹10 lakh each. Total household income is ₹20 lakh. Tax: zero Family B One spouse earns ₹20 lakh. The other stays home to raise their child. Total household income is ₹20 lakh. Tax: ₹1.92 lakh The only difference is how the salary is split between the two spouses. One roof. One kitchen. One household budget. But when tax time comes, the family disappears. The tax system sees two individuals. A husband and wife become strangers. No clubbing of income or rebates. In Parliament today I proposed optional joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples, so families with uneven incomes are not unfairly penalised. If implemented, then Family A and Family B both will pay Zero Tax.

On the birth centenary of #BalThackeray last week, I write this on behalf of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits whose futures were quietly, decisively altered by one courageous decision. By granting college reservation to displaced Kashmiri Pandits, he did more than create a policy. He created possibility. I still remember standing in front of my Electronics Engineering batch of 2011 when a few classmates casually taunted me, saying I had taken away one seat from sixty. I remember replying, with conviction and without apology, that it was not 60 seats. It was 60 plus 1. That one was history. That one was displacement. That one was survival turning into aspiration. Today, as I look at the lives built, the families raised, the contributions made across industries, media, science, governance, and art, I know this was never about a seat. It was about securing futures when everything else had been taken away. Gratitude, always, for seeing us when we were invisible. For backing education as resistance. @Mustakim0983 @venom1s do you stay in hospitals and schools? Have you heard of concept of medical tourism and boarding schools/homeschooling kids. Those 3 concept are for people like us :) and to answer your question we have hospital and school 13kms away . A 17 mins drive from our farms.

Buying such houses in tier 3 cities is way better than buying matchbox-sized apartments in Mumbai, Noida or Gurgaon for crores.

@theskindoctor13 Hire a good architect, engineer, contractor and interior designer. Let them work in tandem for you since start. Don’t mix up these 4 people into 1. Building house is like making a movie. I just build my farmstay here are the pictures Dm me to know the entire process.

A 3 BHK in an under-construction property is costing 4 cr is in Mira Bhayander! Yes, it's not even Borivali. Possession is after 3 years. Even if a guy buys this, in an arranged marriage setup the girl will say no in a blink if you say your house is in Bhayander. Reason - Yeh toh Mumbai mai bhi nahi rehta. Kon Bhayander mai jayega🥲
