キリストの復活ということを、現代人の多くは、特に日本人は、信じないのかもしれない。 というより、ピンとこないのだろう。 ただ、私自身のことを言うと、キリストの復活ということを思うと、なぜか心が新たになり、元気が出る気がする。 復活が本当にあったかどうかは、直接目撃できない以上、客観的に実証することは難しい。 しかし、心の上での実験では、なぜか元気が出てくるということは言える。 多くの人が、それを実感実証してきたから、この一見荒唐無稽な事柄がずっと信じられ伝えられてきたのだろう。 私はキリストの復活を信じる。

i went to mass this morning. hadn’t been to one since early 2025, iirc. not catholic. not practicing anything. i was here once before, end of 2024. it was the priest’s last sunday here. he was being transferred to chicago. i don’t remember what his sermon was on, but it was the right thing for me to hear that day. i was a teared up. guess who the visiting priest was today? and again i teared up during mass. but the priest didn’t say anything specific to him. just seemed like a standard easter service. could have been any priest. i’ve been feeling a pull towards religion for several years, wasn’t sure what. the last few years specifically towards catholicism. a belief in the supernatural, in god. but i was hung up on the whole jesus thing. i no longer feel hung up on this. much reflecting to do now.

@nagoyan2gou The only churches in America that are segregated by race are the low church evangelicals where "black church" is a thing. But other than that every church will be different races. Catholics will have masses in different languages, we have a Spanish mass and an English mass.
