@RepJackKimble I consider myself to be very intelligent and would gladly take your job however the "real owners" would never allow it to happen: George Carlin - The big club

@JoshEakle If you didn't realize after this that political representation needs a complete overhaul and we need to get rid of all of them and start over from scratch well .... Heated tensions in House Oversight meeting
English

@JoshEakle Being a representative is like being on the school PTO .... it is not supposed to be a full-time job much less a career ...... you are n occasional voice of reason when a situation arises.
English

@JoshEakle HALF of America lives on HALF of what you make or less. You should be wise enough to develop a financial plan to live off of double the average American. If not, I don't want you making critical decisions that shape my life.
English

@JoshEakle The national average salary in the U.S. is roughly $69,846 per year (or approximately $1,343 per week). However, because extremely high salaries can skew averages, experts often recommend looking at the median salary, which is roughly $62,088 per year for full-time workers.
English

@RepJackKimble I would do your job for free because I actually care about everyone ...... not just the "BIG CLUB"

@BernieSanders We were never a democracy ...... we are a republic ... you don't even know the "Pledge of Allegiance. "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America .... and to the REPUBLIC ..... youtu.be/TiwMCFvdpMo

@FoxNews I agree ... and while we are at it we need to cut they salary and benefits of politicians ... if you are really for the people you should live like most of them. You should make $30 / hr and only get paid when you are in session. That would save taxpayers quite a bit of money.

“People can’t feed themselves.”
AOC ripped the Trump administration over spending on the National Mall reflecting pool and the planned White House ballroom, arguing that Americans are struggling to afford groceries, rent, and mortgages.
She called the priorities “deeply out of touch” and “insulting” to everyday people.
English

@GuntherEagleman I would recommend switching to school year round .. 4 days / week .. showing the constant importance of learning and education. Unnecessary 2 month break disrupts focus .. when kids return to school it takes a week or more for things to return to an effectively productive level.

🚨 U.S. test scores are in a generation long freefall, reading scores just hit their LOWEST point since 1909.
The biggest drops are among the lowest-achieving kids. We’ve failed an entire generation.
Decades of federal bureaucracy, teachers’ unions protecting failure, and schools more worried about pronouns and DEI than reading, writing, and math. Throw in social media rotting their brains and you’ve got a perfect storm of stupidity.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon:
“The most important thing we can do for our children is make sure they can read and do math. We have failed them.”
The solution... ABOLISH THE TEACHER'S UNIONS

@CBSNews Easy solution ..... tell anyone from Taiwan that doesn't want to be part of the drama to come to the US and hang out in sanctuary cities as "undocumented citizens" .... everyone else is doing it ...... why not let them join the party
English

President Trump said he has "made no commitment either way" on Taiwan during talks with China's President Xi Jinping. Trump said they had "talked a lot" about Taiwan, a self-governing island, which China claims as part of its territory and has not ruled out taking by force. Trump said Xi had asked directly if the U.S. would defend Taiwan, and he had responded: "I don't talk about that.

@FastbreakHoops5 and he certainly NEVER tried to bully his way into getting his kids basketball fame ...... anything else you need @getnickwright
English

@FastbreakHoops5 He had way more passion and played for the love of the game. He never whined when he was getting physically beat up ..... he never complained about officiating ..... he never jumped from team to team chasing rings he never put his "brand" above the game

@bballjkey @Matt_Stepp817 Clearly either do not respect or do not understand the concept of what high school sports are meant to be ... a privilege ... not a right .... meant to teach life lessons ... and have little to nothing to do with winning ... losing or the scoreboard .... you are STUDENT athletes
English

My point exactly - control versus what is actually best for the student athlete on an individual case by case basis. Hundreds to thousands of kids will transfer in the state this coming school year. Of those kids involved in athletics, I feel very comfortable saying that 30%-50%+ will be for athletic purposes, no matter what box is checked on the transfer paperwork. I can say for an absolute fact that it will not be 0% that are transferring for non-athletic reasons. That is where the hypocrisy of the system comes in to play. If the UIL allowed 0% of transfers (sit a year) to play immediately, I could live with it. But to say some kids are transferring for athletic purposes and others aren’t is disingenuous. I get it, nothing is going to change with the transfer process - just saying it doesn’t make it right/fair to all.
English

With what a player of this level can potentially make via NIL in college, why is transferring for athletic purposes to maximize their HS experience against the rules? For a player not of this level, why can’t the athlete/family decide where they want to play sports and go to HS?
Makes zero sense. The transfer rules in general are about control and have nothing to do with the best interest of the kids.

When Kennedy did the podcast interview in March this thing was a wrap and everyone who knows how Duncanville ISD operates post Anthony Black knew Kennedy wasn't playing for Duncanville in 2026 #txhsfb
English

@bballjkey @Matt_Stepp817 It's not about control ..... it's about making sure districts don't lose students just because of sports ...... each student you lose reduces your funding and hurts everyone in the district ..... not to mention the selfish nature and inflated ego you are presenting .....
English

@woodwardsports @Lions @DetroitPistons @DetroitRedWings @tigers I would have to replace Cabrera with The Georgia Peach .... was statistically better in every category except home runs.

THIS IS NOT BASKETBALL!! 🤯🤯
I am pulling for Cleveland, but what is this!? Dennis Schroder just runs into Ausar, then just flings up a shot, gets rewarded with free-throws.
The @NBA has lost its way.
English

@ABC As that is no longer the case it is an archaic and outdated practice and carries no relevance.
English

@ABC The best way to fix the education process is to have 4 day school weeks and go to school year round. This would provide better long term structure and prioritize the importance of education. In most states the school year is 180 days.

A new report released Wednesday suggests students in U.S. schools are performing worse than their peers a decade ago, and it isn't entirely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. abcnews.link/V6rlk1d
