@Rosschastainfan Honestly, I know Trackhouse cars are awful. But seeing the success SVG is having, Ross and the team are getting blown past. To me, and I could be wrong, the same hunger isn’t there that there was 3-4 years ago. I feel like I’m getting a corporate version of Ross and not the racer

Lap 315, Ross Chastain spins down the backstretch and I to the inside wall and will finish 35th. When you have a car that horrendous, that’s pretty much a given. Only thing to do is move on to Nashville to get this wild tear turned around.

Lap 90, Ross Chastain with 65 lap tires has dropped to 32nd just barely able to stay on the lead lap. A wasted opportunity to work on it for sure. If it didn’t have any grip it certainly doesn’t now.

Suwannee takes Game 1 of the Region 1-3A semifinals, run-ruling Fernandina Beach 12-0 in 5 innings. Kyler Watson pitched the whole way for the Bulldogs. Jace Moran and Hampton Newman each had three RBIs. Game 2 will follow shortly.

@DukeNBA Plus Tyus was a true floor general. He still proves it in the NBA today. His basketball IQ is off the charts. Justice was a true dog. That team it came together. This year we were too reliant on Cam. Last year Tyrese just wasn’t the leader Quinn was. Has to be the right mix.

@DukeNBA The problem with young teams, the maturity lacks. Trust me, I’m happy to have had Flagg, Zion, RJ, Bagley, Cam, but the reason 2015 worked is because it was the right mix. You had arguably one of the greatest leaders, Quinn plus Amile & Matt. Caleb could be Quinn next year

The National Championship is between a team Duke beat at full strength 5 weeks ago and a team they led for 39 minutes last week. Just pain.

Lap 60, Ross Chastain will finish stage 1 in 10th. Center remained tight, when he released brake he got looser. Ended up loose everywhere. Majorly bogged down off 4. Needing a major swing.

@BlueDevils The fact he’s in a boot and walking is promising. If it was broke, he wouldn’t be back out there. My guess is a sprain.

@Rosschastainfan I just want us to stop consistently shooting ourselves in the foot. The multiple errors at the Charlotte Roval last year, stalling coming out of the pit today, loose wheel. I’ll be excited when we become consistent at not making simple mistakes

Lap 95, Ross Chastain will finish 35th after getting a two lap penalty for losing a tire. Brandon McSwain gives an apology over the radio for a disastrous showing on pit road today. Great top 5 pace for sure is the highlight. Onto Phoenix to dig out of the hole.

@Rosschastainfan It’s early in the season, but McSwain is going to be one heck of a crew Chief. If we have practice this weekend, I believe that car gets dialed in before the race.

Lap 267, Ross Chastain will finished 3rd. Holy shit that 45 just shot out of canon down the back pulling everyone. Heck of an effort by the entire 1 group guess the difference was having a right front fender or not. Onto COTA.

Lap 60, Ross Chastain will finish stage 1 in 14th. The car started really good first 4 laps then it became tight on landing and have to to ease back to throttle to not snap loose from the tightness. Feels right in the middle on right rear grip.

@Rosschastainfan Yes I thought the same thing. We always go bottom when it seems like most of the day the objective is to start the 3rd lane or join it. It’s just frustrating to keep seeing the same thing and expecting different results.

Lap 200, Ross Chastain will finish 20th. Never understand the obsession of taking bottom to go nowhere to the finish on these damn superspeedways. Absolutely horrendous finish with everyone wanting to kill each other instead of winning the Daytona 500. Onto Atlanta.

Lap 124, Ross Chastain makes slight contact on the left front with the 48. Very fortunate to get bumped by the 17 to avoid that.

Lap 54, Ross Chastain it through in 12th no damage. Just felt snug on the bottom.
