AOC is deeply confused. Biden is not the Democratic nominee. If he drops out of the race, and Democrats nominate someone else, the Dems will not be replacing Biden - they will be picking their nominee. There are no legal hurdles to doing that, nothing for SCOTUS to weigh in on.

@stuholden If you’re expecting an international coach to ‘improve’ young players then I don’t really know what to tell you. They get less than 2 weeks together at a time, improving comes from the club level. They just have to have the ability to implement what the coach asks at int level.

If Biden announced that he’s stepping aside and thinks Democrats should nominate a swing state ticket of Gretchen Whitmer & Josh Shapiro who have solid Democratic values but weren’t specifically involved in his administration it would be universally hailed as a masterstroke.
