@__temiszn Everything shouldn’t be for content. Nigerians we too dey talk. Haba!
English

@octacore_ @Joe__Bassey It’s not just English, I get your intentions were innocent but you can say still your “brother” & not add a tribe.
I don’t see how adding that was going to help your statement or argument.
Yes! It can be/ is offensive.
It’s not so difficult to be accountable to self 🤷
English

@Joe__Bassey English seems difficult for some people to comprehend btw..
I literally said “he sounds like..”.
Regardless, he’s still my brother, and I need to still call his bullshit out.
English

@octacore_ @Joe__Bassey It’s incredibly disappointing that no matter where we are in the world, we still choose division over unity.
English

@octacore_ @Joe__Bassey You guys somehow managed to deviate from the main post & turn this into tribal warfare. You didn’t have to mention a tribe to make your point. Tribalism continues to be our greatest weakness, both at home and in the diaspora.
English

@Joe__Bassey I have to ask, do you lose shame and decency when you become a content creator ?
This is so embarrassing! Are there no sane ways to get your message across?
This is truly pathetic behaviour.

@BigDowat Take daily walks (at least 10k steps).
100-120 Push ups (20x5/6)
Sit ups (10x4)
No late night food.
Intermittent fasting
100 squats (20x5)
Stay hydrated
Protein (egg, meat, etc)
I’ve got a dumbbell and barbell at home, so I make use of them for biceps, shoulders, chest, back.

@ahsaanbhatti @reynanba The restaurant in the video is Site 2 Lokantası in Ankara, Turkey, known for lamb tandır dishes.
In Manchester, try Firin (at Holiday Inn Manchester Airport, Palma Ave, M90 5PH) for tender lamb tandir, or Etci Mehmet Steakhouse for similar Turkish lamb options.

Make we talk am like normal people, abeg.
You stand for National Assembly, and with full chest you talk say by March all old capital liabilities go finish and from April na one budget only.
Okay.
With which money.
As we dey talk now, Nigeria dey spend around ₦700–₦750 billion every month just to service debt.
That na about ₦8–₦9 trillion a year.
Interest only.
Government own numbers show say over 60% of total revenue already dey go to debt service.
Before road.
Before hospital.
Before school.
Now dem dey talk say dem wan clear backlog of over ₦10 trillion capital projects.
If dem borrow that money, even with soft interest, you don add another ₦80–₦100 billion per month to debt service.
So monthly debt service go near ₦850 billion.
Now add everything together.
Oil revenue.
Solid minerals.
VAT.
Company tax.
All IGR.
Everything still no enough to comfortably service the debt we get right now, talk less of new borrowing.
Debt service don already pass oil revenue before.
Na fact.
So my real question be this.
Why una so wicked to mortgage Nigeria future like this.
Why una dey borrow against people wey never born yet, just to look good for podium today.
If all the borrowing we don already do no solve the problem,
and almost all our income dey go to debt,
where this March miracle wan come from.
This no be politics.
Na arithmetic.
And arithmetic no dey fear microphone.

I’m confident that the people of Lagos state will no longer tolerate an administration that prioritizes luxury vehicles over the delivery of public services.
Where people are constantly fleeing their homes due to poor drainage systems or where people have to drink water contaminated with “shit” because their government is incompetent.
And while the people drown… the government dines.
This administration cannot continue to dine while the people groan. But their picnic is over and the people are ready for a Lagos that works for everyone.

@Popman_Jay @seglon @JeromeOgunna It’s okay for you to think that way bro. Again, I believe the authors experiences mirror his opinions. Judging from the comments & traction, you can see there’s a lot of people who can relate on that same level. If you can’t, just say thank God and gear on.
Perspectives bro
English

@b_odeghe @seglon @JeromeOgunna If we are to be honest, some of what the Sri Lanka guy said is just illusion of someone with too much expectations and later got shocked.
What does he mean by "free doesn't mean accessible" what was he expecting? 🤷🏽♂️

The UK will stabilize your life. Give you purpose to back up your mission and vision. Assist you in growing your income/savings/investment regardless of whatever jobs in any sector you are doing while living a decent live that a normal human being deserves.
Ungrateful lots will leave where all the above is mildly impossible, spend 11years in the UK, achieve their aim and suddenly call it a beautiful cage solely because everyone has to follow due process with no room for shortcuts to become rich in a short period of time.
See alot of folks on here agreeing and claiming to relate to the post. Most a even quoting with an iPhone 15pro they bought this year without having to think twice about before purchasing. Something most will save for years to get or even if you have a huge income/saving you still can't cus everyone is one government policy away from being broke.
Count your little wins. Be grateful, and trust the process. The UK has given you a level playing ground as against where you are coming from where all odds are stacked against you.
Mr Anthony@TokunboAnthony
This guy from Sri Lanka wrote his thoughts based on his experience about living in the UK. I found it relatable to an extent

@seglon @JeromeOgunna I agree with you bro. Two truths can exist.
@JeromeOgunna Your belief your experiences my bro, you can truly only speak for yourself as a fact.Others can tell their stor’z diff & it is still facts
You shouldnt invalidate someone else’s truth because it’s different from yours.
English

@JeromeOgunna We are still on the same bit brother. People are allowed to tell their truths based on their own experiences. It is what it is. And these are still facts.
