I hope you’ll read and watch this story about Lucas Bellamy, who was so sick and in so much pain that he crawled on the Hennepin County jail floor begging to be taken to a hospital.
His jailers ignored his pleas. Their indifference cost him his life.

I'm insanely lucky to have been a journalist for so long. Places like @duluthnews, @StarTribune and @kare11, each took a chance on me. They made me better. And I got to work work alongside incredible journalists and friends. It's been a dream.
