First of all, I don’t worship Trump or MAGA just as we do’t worship Mary. Second, it’s not blasphemy to criticize the Bishop of Rome. That’s who Leo is when he’s not proclaiming authentically (with the Magisterium) from the Chair; when he does then I’m bound to obedience as a practicing Catholic. Thus, as the Bishop he is entitled to his opinions and since he seems to be consumed with being a “world leader” over just a Church leader he is open to my disagreeing with him on comments that he pretty much doesn’t have full information on. Further, when he says that God doesn’t hear the prayers of those who wage war he’s placing himself in a place of privilege that no one has not even the Pope; a side from it not being true.
