Daughter surprised everyone with her 'KDB-esque' through ball on the weekend... coach came up to me at the end and said she must watch a lot of football but the truth is she doesn't. She has never watched more than a few minutes before running off to do something else.
But ask her to kick a ball around and she is super enthusiastic.
I do think at some stage it is helpful for kids to truly study the game but you can't rush this process, at the moment she loves playing more than watching and I try and drip feed information, clips sporadically but ultimately it is her own journey in terms of growing to love and learn about a sport.

@htomufc Even if he wants to invert the CCB into midfield, it needs to be done with the right profile like Martinez (of course there are OOP issues w him like aerial ability etc.)

Thanks to Carl Anka for asking this question!
I’m not really sure why you’d use your central defender in midfield to ‘clear space’ for your goalkeeper to play out especially when we go long with 60/70% of our GK kicks & you could also accomplish the same result with a midfielder there.
Asking the likes of De Ligt/Maguire to organise the game with their backs to goal instead of a natural midfielder just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s such a small tweak that could be made that would improve our build up tenfold.

🚨🎙️ | Ruben Amorim asked why his central centre-back sometimes moves into midfield during build-up: "It is especially when the ball is with the goalkeeper, to try clean the space for the goalkeeper to play. "Nowadays, if you see who is the guy that touch the ball more, it's the centre-backs, so the centre-back as one more midfielder is the guy that organises the game. "So they need to improve, and we need to try to do different things to play better."

@NealGardner_ You also want Ter Stegen out. Just because they are making it a trend but you aren’t doesn’t change the fact that you are also propagating the same thing

I think we need to let go of MATS, but the level of hatred a large part of this fanbase has for him is unlike anything I’ve seen before.
I’d be curious to know how local fans feel. Is this sentiment shared in Barcelona?

@henry_omijie @ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing So you think Tottenham deserves the UCL next season after being below Man United ?
English

@bableshwar01 @ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing You don’t get his point. Normally the trophies matter w their history and what it takes to get there but his point is that fans would rather see a team who deserves it get into the CL. Tbh this season you don’t deserve to play in the EL, and the CL next season.
English

@ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing Fair enough. As a United fan I don't care if we get some team other than Spurs in the final and lose to them. The possible final with Spurs makes it high stakes and being the team against which Spurs won their first trophy is painful
English

@bableshwar01 @InvertTheWing I hate having to choose either. On one hand, I like Chelsea being the only top club in London with a European trophy, but on the other hand, it would be funny if Arsenal didnt while Spurs did have a European trophy.
English

@ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing Fair enough but I think supporting your biggest rivals is not how it is supposed to be bro
English

@bableshwar01 @InvertTheWing Yes we were god awful and yet we still got to the round of 8 in the UCL that year while United crashed out in the group stage the next year.
We were horrible and didnt deserve Europe the next season. The same logic applies to United these last 2 years.
English

@ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing I'd rather see Forest get UCL qualification over Chelsea who have spent billions over the past 3-4 years and still are barely getting UCL qualification
English

@bableshwar01 @InvertTheWing Youre making my point for me... Id much rather see a Forest team get a Champions League spot by earning it over 38 games than Manchester United or Spurs getting UCL by winning a Europa League title, especially a United team that has been terrible in the league for 2 years.
English

@ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing I think you really are undermining the history of FA Cup. How much money have you guys spent over the last 3-4 years and how does that correlate with your league position? Forest must have spent 10x less and are producing performances better/as good as you
English

@bableshwar01 @InvertTheWing Last year they earned a Europa League spot in the league. Manchester United didnt.
Some people think that doesnt matter, I am always going to prefer teams getting rewarded for good league play than some Cup run.
In reality, neither of you should be allowed in Europe next year
English

@ChelseaintheUS @InvertTheWing last season we were 8th they were 5th (injury crisis for both the teams). This season we are 14th and they are 16th. We have been bad but it's not that they have been way better than us. We have been slapped thrice by them this season and still they are below us
English

@bableshwar01 @InvertTheWing In an ideal world, no they wouldnt either. But at least Spurs earned their Europe spot in the league last year. Manchester United has been terrible in the Premier League for 2 years straight now.
