@bac40 Hi Brian, if the ticket office is closed and there are no alternatives to purchase this ticket, you will be able to purchase this on board or at your destination. If there is a ticket vending machine, please issue a promise to pay slip so our conductor can help with this.

@CrossCountryUK DEJA VU. After the hell of Friday now this on Sunday. You are not fit for purpose. This is our attempted return leg from Bristol. We along with many other passengers can’t board our booked train because hundreds of passengers were let down by the preceding train you cancelled. We can’t get on this unless we force our way on and get suffocated standing in your cattle trucks. I reiterate this surely cannot be a safe means of travel. Not going to risk that again and can’t risk waiting for an hour and not being able to get on the next train which will be another battery farm inside. We’ve given up. We have blagged a lift to Cheltenham and will get a hire car. We’re lucky to be able to afford it. I will never use your service again. I feel sorry for the passengers squeezed in on board and the passengers you have stranded with no alternative means of travel. Oh and your staff member who got off from first class was rude. The whole experience over 2 journeys with CrossCountry / XC Trains Ltd has been a disgrace. This totally broken service needs urgent attention @Heidi_Labour.
