365 Days, X! So, it's been quite a journey, to say the least. From launching communityforest, going viral with it (and have big names like @marclou and @jackfriks notice me) and achieving the following: - 1600$ revenue (>800$ donated for reforestation) - over 2000 followers in 20 days - monetized 28 days after starting X to pretty much burning out and not posting for months, I have done it all. Very high highs, very low lows. BUT I am very glad to be back and more active on here and it's been quite some fun lately! Thanks to all the people who constantly interact with me and my stupid posts and special thanks to @robin_faraj and @JoschuaBuilds for pretty much being my mentors at the start of my journey <3. I had the honor of meeting my favorite solopreneur @jackfriks. We spent 3 days at Stripe Sessions, explored SF, and went to the gym. He’s exactly how you’d expect: kind, smart, and simple. What struck me most is how mature Jack is. He’s only 26, runs a $30K MRR business, and is engaged to his warm, kind fiancée (at 26, I was lost and drunk in a club in Korea). We all know Jack for his SaaS and UGC content, but he told me he dropped out of college to build a YouTube channel. That’s how he made his first few thousand dollars. Then at 23, he started building startups in public, and in less than 3 years: - taught himself to code - built 10+ apps - got millions of views - built assets that could retire him Jack found a balance between work and life, and as someone who figured things out late, it’s inspiring to see someone this young with that level of clarity. To quote him: just keep going :)

I first visited SF in late 2024. One moment that stuck with me was interviewing with Nico Laqua for a SWE role at Corgi. I didn’t get the offer—but that experience was part of what pushed me toward startups and building. Fast forward to now: Corgi Cafe was my first stop back in the city. Seeing what the team has built in just 1.5 years is genuinely impressive. Excited to be back!

We are more than 400 now! The meetup is a big get-together where you hang out with Twitter people, but IRL. We'll be in Crissy Field from 2 pm to 4 pm. Many people found their cofounders and made friends during these meetups. See you tomorrow, it's going to be epic!
