Day 1 of building a social platform for SaaS builders 🚀 I’ve built a few small SaaS products over the past months. Nothing big, just small tools solving small problems. Every time I launched something, the same thing happened. 0 users. No reach. No traction. Not because the product was bad… but because I didn’t know how to distribute it. Marketing always felt harder than building. You can spend weeks coding something, but if no one sees it, it almost feels like it doesn’t exist. That frustration stayed with me. So instead of just building another SaaS and hoping it works, I decided to try something different. I’m starting to build a small social platform specifically for SaaS devs, solopreneurs, and vibe coders. A place where small products don’t just get buried. A place where early builders can actually get seen. I don’t know if this will work. I don’t even know how it will fully turn out yet. But I know this problem is real because I’ve felt it myself. So I’m starting anyway.

@sreenandhanpp Focusing on audience *before* launch is key. It's not just about features; it's about building a community around what you're creating.

Day 3 of building a social platform for SaaS builders. I fixed some UI/UX bugs today and switched from email/password auth to Google auth. Small improvements, but they made the product feel a bit more real. But while working, I realized something uncomfortable. Even when I try to follow a strict plan, I still end up over-engineering things. Adding features that don’t really matter yet. Trying to make it “perfect” before anyone even uses it. So I made a decision I’m going to finish this within 2 weeks. No overthinking. Just ship. The real problem isn’t building this platform. It’s getting people to actually use it. Because this isn’t just a product it’s a social platform. And platforms only work when there are people on them. Without an audience, it’s just an empty space. I’ve built things before — build → launch → 0 users. I don’t want that again. This time, the focus isn’t just features… it’s building an audience. I need to reach solo devs, SaaS builders, founders because if they’re not here, nothing works. Still figuring out how to grow that before launch. If you’ve done this before, would love to hear how.

$0 → $100 MRR: 6 months $100 → $1K MRR: 2 months $1K → $2K MRR: ~1 month Each milestone got faster. Not because I got smarter. Because compounding doesn't care how slow you start.

@sreenandhanpp This is a real gap in the ecosystem. A founder-only feed with actual signal would be massive hardest part will be filtering 'build in public' noise from real signal. Following Day 1.

Content distribution is not: → Posting on 5 platforms → Going viral once → Growing your follower count It's engineering a repeatable path from "stranger" to "user." That's a system. Not a strategy.
