Seems like not much has changed between the murder of Neda Agha-Soltan in 2009 and today. Young women brutally murdered by a regime that has absolutely no regard for human life, only for absolute tyrannical power. The death of Neda always made an impact on me because she not only symbolized a resistance movement, but it showed what the regime has taken away from Iranians. First the regime came for their rights, then it came to take away their dignity, and then they came for their lives. Melika Azizi is now sadly the new Neda, and hopefully one day the Iranian people will rise up and bring the animals who did this to justice.

18-year-old Melika Azizi has been executed by the Islamic Regime in Iran under the charge of being an
"Enemy of God" (Moharebeh).
She was violently arrested during the nationwide January protests in the city of Masal, Gilan Province of Iran, following her participation in protests against the Islamic Regime.
Melika was held in Lakan Prison in Rasht, where she was subjected to physical abuse and denied contact with her family, who also faced pressure by the Islamic regime's security forces.
